Phenomenal gloves. Would be very happy to wear these myself. fit really snug on my hands. very comfortable around my wrist and offer test level protection. Might not be the prettiest gloves ( some might disagree ) but certainly are as good as the adidas adi pure and the kahuna 1000.And even better about these awesome gloves is the price.
Origin: India Wood: According to SG its Made from top-of-the-line English Willow Sizes Available: SH and Long blade Weight Guide: 2lb 8oz-3lb+ Sample Weight: 2lb 10 oz Handle: round Edge (at widest): 34mm Finish: Poly coat Toe Protection: Yes
Im rather disappointed with this bat. as im now going through the range of bats things that made the bats new and fresh in the beginning are now becoming boring and dull. my point is yeah SGcricket have come out with new and fresh designs for their bats but like SScricket its all very similar throughout the range with only a few small alterations to make bats different. things that every new SG bat has are, concaved spine, exaggerated edges. when will we see the sub continent brands have some variation in their bats like GM or GN? and coming in at $389 thats a lot of money for a bat you dont even know what grade of willow it is.
– the willow quality
– the fact it looks like many other SG bats, this king cobra certainly wont be a spitting cobra in my opinion. the round handle, the ping or lack there of.
I was initially a bit suspect about this cricket bat and honestly i still am. Youtube is filled with mixed feeling about these new bats. Some people hit the ball 10 yards further than more traditional bats & other hit them 10 yards shorter.
As i’m holding one of these bats here on my lap right now as i write this blog entry, i must say i am really intrigued and would love to take one of the mongoose bats out in a game and give it a try. Its quite interesting because the bat doesn’t have a splice or even a separate handle. Its all made out of one piece of willow. English grade 1 english willow by the way.
Here is a short video review that you can watch of the mongoose cricket bat. watch all the way through for a chance to win this bat.
This bat comes with a natural finish which means there is no polycoat which now allows you to oil your bat whenever you choose. Strangely there isnt a pre-fitted toe guard on the bat, so you will have to take care of that yourself. This Mongoose mmi3 bat has a super long handle. look at the picture below to see how it compares to a regular cricket bat.
This bat is available for you right now at www.cricketstoreonline.com for an amazingly low price. Just $259.00. I will also give you free shipping to anywhere in the USA for this bat.

So most people don’t wear arm guards. I know when i started playing club level cricket after high school i wore one as i wasn’t used to the pace of the older bowlers. But as time went by i discarded it and no longer use one anymore. it is however a personal choice. I remember a game i should of been wearing one, the bowler was pretty quick and hit me square on the forearm. Lucky for me i gritted my teeth and ended up scoring 54.
Here are some pictures of different cricket arm guards.
Basically you use an arm guard for the purpose of protecting your forearm from being hit by acricket ball. Batsman wear them whilst they are batting against bowlers. Generally speaking it is for the faster bowlers and not so much the slower spinners and medium pacers. In international cricket it is quick common for the tail enders to wear them against the quicker bowlers as they are not as good as the regular batsman.

So what can we say about these puma ballistic pads. They are easily some of the lightest cricket pads we have ever tested. The craftsmanship is just brilliant and very well put together.
I would certainly recommend these Puma ballistic cricket batting pads to anyone who is serious about their cricket and wants to perform at the highest level. You will feel as if you don’t even have pads on they are so light. The puma ballistic’s are not the most comfortable pad available but they certainly are light. So save up a bit of cash, as they aren’t cheap, running anywhere from $150 – $180 USD. They are well worth the price though.
The pads of choice for master-blasters Brendon McCullum and Adam Gilchrist, these leg guards are intended to offer wholesale freedom of movement in order to allow the more free-spirited batsman to tee off with minimal restriction. Notable features on these cut down pads include an internal Fibre Tech shield and a moulded kneecap.
The lightest pads we’ve ever tested, these babies allow you to skip down the track with abandon. Suffered slightly in terms of comfort due to chaffing a previously acquired injury on one of our play-testers, and as eye-catching as they are you’ll probably have a few shots to avoid the odd remark from jealous opponents, but if you favour quick feet, don’t be shy on shelling out on these babies.

This is a cricket bat review of the SS platinum reserve cricket bat. When i took this cricket bat out of the padded cover that it comes with i immediately saw the immaculate cricket bat face. The grains in the wood are perfect. You can see these cricket bats are all hand selected for quality, and the SS platinum reserve cricket bat is no different. This is really a top quality piece of english willow that comes with a minimum of 13 grains and weight ranges between 2.8lbs and 2.14lbs.

This is a review on the MS Dhoni Reebok Cricket bat. My very first impression i got when i picked this bat up was that it felt a little heavy. So the first thing i noticed about the MRF Wizard Brian Lara Cricket Bat was just how well balanced it is. MRF really has done a good job at creating this masterpiece of a cricket bat. Its almost as if its not in your hands at all. It feels so light it is just amazing. The cricket bat is available in the light to medium range and is available now for $239 at cricket store online.
Watch this short little video from cricket store online in which i explain some of the things i really like about this cricket bat.
Another thing i like about this cricket bat is that it only has 7 or 8 grains. According to the master bat maker at Laver & Wood in New zealand 8 grains is the perfect amount as that will help your bat last longer. If you have to many grains your new cricket bat isnt going to last you more than a few seasons.
This MRF wizard 400 cricket bat is also made in the old fashion model of having thinner edges. I personally prefer thinner edges as it also helps the cricket bat last longer
